Skiing

As part of my travels I go skiing every year. Nothing beats the feeling standing at the top of a giant mountian earily in the crisp winter morning. My friend Jay, Scott, and Jay are the usual people who accompany me.

Unfortunitly while leading a group down Whister back in 2002 a patch of ice on a close tree run caused me to hit a tree and break a few bones. The next 6 months or so were spent recovering in a chair and doing physical theorpy for 4 hours a day. If I get around to it I might scan in the X-ray images and post them here.

After the injury skiing is a little harder then it used to be because of the broken bones and equipment. Only time will tell if skiing continues to be a major part of my life or if a new sport like hobby will replace it as I've grown fond of walking and biking during the P.T. period...In Michigan both of those are easier to do for longer periods of the year.

Sooner or later I will at photo journals of various ski trips here.
